So what am I called now? There is no word for the girlfriend. My wonderful, loving boyfriend of almost 3 years passed away late Friday night July 3, 2009. He was surrounded by all who loved him. I am honored, grateful and thankful he loved me. And I will thank him everyday for the rest of my life for that. Please workforce, grab the ones you love and make sure they know you love them everyday. Watch over me Todd. I love you always.

Kat, He loved you and I love you too. Todd will be with us always. For all love purposes you are his widow and I am his grieving mom. We can be somewhat at peace knowing we were loving by a wonderful boy and man. I love you Kat.

I feel for you and am totally aware of your situation.I have been with my “Boyfriend” for over 21 years.I will not be recognized as anything but that.We talked of marriage several years ago but he got cold feet.He can’t claim me on his taxes because of an outdated law on Louisiana books about cohabitating.I’m trying to talk to our local gov. to abolish this law.He has lost over $20,000 in tax refunds.Also,if he dies,the only ones who will reap his social security will be the unemployed and illeagles.Not Me.Frankly I think that sucks.Sorry to hear of your loss.I’ll be sitting on the bench with you one day.

Hi Kat–just wanted to give you my deepest condolences. I’m one of those rare and fortunate individuals who have experienced “death” and lived to tell about it. So, I can tell you with 100% certainty that your boyfriend still lives–eternal life does exist–he’s just living in a different realm than us and he is in a trouble-free, wonderful place that he always believed he would be.
