Equality for all

November 17th, 2008

This is a pic from the Prop 8 protest over the weekend.

What if your basic human rights were taken away?  Doesn’t seem fair does it?

    Equal Rights,
I am no Martin Luther King but I can see a world changing and the people in it need to change too. Like our new president’s motto his Change is eminent. If every human being did not have rights we might not have light. We would live like our ancient relatives, there would be no communication, and the world would cease to exist. A protest rally brings change but is it too much. Where do our rights as humans change into equal oppurtunity for everyone. I am all for rights and change but at what cost? What is the down side of living in a changed world? I for one am happy the way things are now but I want my kids and there kids to live like I did when I kid. I don’t want them to be burdened by our forefathers. There is a world out there that is begging for change. Call me old fashioned but I like the world we live in now. How will I be compensated? If my rights as a human being were taken away I would be a little pissed.
