I watch a lot of TV, so naturally I feel qualified to give my opinion on the Emmy nominations that came out today. What? How is that Kristin broad from E! any more qualified than that?
So…COMEDY SHOW: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, The Office, 30 Rock, Two and a Half Men
As long as it’s not 2 1/2 Men that wins. My husband LOVES that show and I would never hear the end of it. (Go 30 Rock!)
DRAMA SHOW: Boston Legal, Damages, Dexter, House, Lost, Mad Men
I find it offensive that Lost in nominated. They have never answered any of those questions they keep throwing out there. I’m more confused than ever! Yet I’m still watching like some moron who thinks eventually they’ll tell me what I want to know…but they’ll never be able to answer everything. They should just do like a 5-hour special where they just go through the plot and start telling us what the heck was going on. (Go Damages)
COMEDY ACTRESS: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Christina Applegate, Tina Fey, America Ferrera, Mary Louise-Parker
I know it makes me a bad person or whatever, but I’m just gonna say it. I don’t watch Ugly Betty. Sorry! So I don’t get that whole thing. Anyone but her. (Go Tina Fey)
COMEDY ACTOR: Tony Shalhoub, Steve Carell, Lee Pace, Alec Baldwin, Charlie Sheen
Monk is still on TV? (Go Alec Baldwin - I’m over the mean voice mail)
DRAMA ACTRESS: Sally Field, Kyra Sedgwick, Glenn Close, Mariska Hargitay, Holly Hunter
I don’t really care…so I guess go Sally Field since I only watch Brothers & Sisters on this list.
DRAMA ACTOR: James Spader, Bryan Cranston, Michael C Hall, Hugh Laurie, Gabriel Byrn, Jon Hamm
Okay…”who? on half of these? (Go Michael C Hall - from Dexter)
And I’m boycotting anything to do with the reality categories because So You Think You Can Dance was overlooked. (okay, Go Top Chef!) -Annette
