Hey did you know that June 20th is supposed to be the happiest day of the year? Yeah some guy came up with a mathematical equation that he claims can determine the day of the year where YOU will be happiest!

Well I say that that guy’s equation is BS. Everybody knows that the happiest day of the year is your birthday! That’s why when something surprisingly awesome happens on any other day of the year, you brighten up and say, “It’s my birthday!” Cuz birthdays make you happy. You get presents. Have you ever heard anybody in a situation like that say “It’s June 20!?!?!?!?!” No.

So unless your birthday is June 20th, that guy is full of it. I bet his birthday is June 20th.

Now I know what you’re thinking, “Stevie, what about when people get old? Don’t they dread their birthday then?” And to that I have to say, “Uh … maybe”

But then for old people the happiest day of the year is the day that’s as far away as possible from their birthday. I mean an old person born in late June or July would spend June 20th dreading their birthday. So for them the happiest day of the year would be the day that’s 183 days away from B-Day. You can’t get farther away from a calendar date than that. So if an old person was born on January 1st, for them the happiest day of the year would be July 3rd, and so on and so forth.

So take that, guy who wants to tell me when I’m happy. I can figure that out for myself!
