I noticed today that a lot of people are saying, “I’m scared of Barack.” Elizabeth Hasselbeck said that this morning on The View and I’ve heard others say it too. I started to wonder, what is it about those words? Am I reading too much into them?
I’ve never heard anyone ever say they are scared of any other candidate. No one was scared of Hillary. No one is scared of McCain. No one is scared of George Bush. So why does the black man frighten you? His views are not that outrageous. Dennis Kucinich did all kinds of stuff that people didn’t agree with but no one was afraid of him. Barack is a normal man with a normal family. He’s not muslim like so many people believe.
It really bothers me that people are saying they are scared of Barack Obama. Again, I might be reading too much into those words, but I still think deep down America is afraid of the black man.
