Today feels like a holiday to me. The Sex & the City movie opens! Yay! But because my stupid friend is out of town, we’re waiting till Monday to go see it. But of course we made our plans to see it already! 7 of us (6 girls and 1 gay) are going. Tickets orderd online today. Cosmos and Flirtinis at Wendee’s house at 3 or 4pm. Dinner at Cafe East after that (because they served asian food at the premiere after-party in NYC). Then onto the movie…we’re planning to get there 45 minutes early so we can sit together. I know on a Monday night it might not be that busy, but we’re not taking chances!

I’m not really planning on dressing up because I’m really more of a flip-flop girl than a Manolo girl (both because of the cost and the comfort). So I guess just whatever Old Navy clothes I have laying around. (Sigh) I guess I’m not really a Carrie afterall. Can you imagine her rocking Old Navy jeans and Reefs to dinner? Oh well. My “mister big” would prefer I go on the cheap.

I have to leave the radio station a little earlier than normal that day to start the cosmos…but what kind of boss would say no to that, right? Okay, most bosses, but I’m gonna try and convince him I have to since it’s of pop-culture importance and I have to talk about it on the radio or something. That’ll work, right?
