At this point on American Idol if the finals don’t come down to the two Davids - Archuleta and Cook, that is, then something is wrong. They are clearly by far the two most popular contestants, and I think it would make a pretty good finale, too. They couldn’t be more different: the supercool and cocky Cook vs the dorkiest teen hearthrob since McLovin’ Archuleta. The loner vs. the son of stage dad from hell. “I Wanna Rock” vs. “One time, at band camp…”

Actually this might be more fun as a cage match than as a singing competition. I think the scrappy Archuleta might win a cage match because Cook would be too worried that if he touched him he’d break him. I don’t know now I’m just rambling… anything not to talk about weepy Brooke or out-of-her-mind Paula. I’ll shut up now.
