Is it considered unpatriotic to New Orleans to be sick of Jazzfest? It seems that everyone in the city is obsessed with it regardless of the weather, regardless of who’s playing, regardless of the lack of shade and abundance of sweaty people!
There are only 2 types of Jazzfests: hot Jazzfests and rainy Jazzfests. Have you ever been to it when there was perfect weather? If you have, that must have been the year I was hiding from the cops in Mexico.
I love the food at Jazzfest, too. For me, though, living here all my life, it has just become not worth it to wade through the mud and/or Mars-like temperatures to get it. I’m sick of it. And if that means I have to turn in my New Orleans card so be it!

Stevie,
You are not following the company line. The fact is that there will not be one single artist featured regularly on B97 performing at the Jazzfest. Do you want your listeners to actually discover cool music and flock to WWOZ? The white men in suits at Entercom HQ are not happy with you at all.
