When I was little my grandma had a gardenia bush right in front of the porch so when you were at the door all you smelled were gardenias. Then when you got inside you smelled gardenias because she would pick them and put them all over the house.

I really love the smell of gardenias. I have a gardenia bush right near my front door but for some reason that thing blooms when it wants. There is one right outside the radio station. I smelled it today and was instantly brought back, which is a much better reaction than I had last year. Last year around this time I was pregnant and that gardenia bush made me want to puke every time I passed it.
