Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave was on the show today and if you missed any of the websites he mentioned, here they are: Axis of Justice, The Nightwatchman’s My Space, Sweet Home New Orleans, and Amnesty International.
Find more info below regarding the Justice Tour starring Tom and Perry Farrell from Jane’s Addiction along with many other special guests. (BTW the tix for Sunday night at the Parish are only 10 bucks and it all goes to charity.)
ABOUT THE JUSTICE TOUR
Tom Morello’s two-week, seven-city Justice Tour stops in Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, Asheville, NC, Washington, DC and Boston before concluding with a May Day show in Chicago on May 1.
Each stop of the Justice Tour includes a day of activism to focus on a sphere of social justice in America: homelessness (Los Angeles, April 15), safe, secure and affordable housing (New Orleans, April 20), a living wage (Asheville, NC, April 22), peace and veterans care (Washington, DC, April 24), affordable healthcare (Boston, April 28) and labor organizing (Chicago, May 1). In addition, Amnesty International’s TearItDown.org Campaign to Close Guantánamo, Project Noise and Morello’s own Axis Of Justice have joined as partner organizations throughout the tour. The itinerary also includes a previously announced show April 17 at New York’s Nokia Theater to benefit Road Recovery, a nonprofit that helps young people forge a future free from addiction and other adversities.
