I’m sorry if your church is closing. I don’t mean to rub it in your face. I’m so happy right now, my parishes are stayin open!!! All the other churches I did important stuff in have closed so it’s nice that the one I attend now and the one I got married in are not closing.

I got baptized at St. Mary of the Angels in the 9th ward, you know what happened to that church August 2005. I received my First Holy Communion at Our Lady Of Good Council on Louisiana Ave, they closed for a while after the storm and will permanently close soon. I was confirmed at St. Francis Cabrini and they were flooded and was recently torn down.

It’s so awesome that the church where we were married, Mater Dolorosa, is staying open. I’m one of those people who don’t like change so I was worried about Our Lady Of Divine Providence, which is where we go now, but they’re staying open. Yeah baby my Sunday routine can stay the same.
