I briefly worked at a job where we got a copy of the Photoshop trade magazine. One article I vividly remember showed how 7 different shots of the same model in the same pose were stitched together then altered to get the shot they wanted.
That makes me sick! Our nations young girls are looking at these pictures and wondering why they can’t be that perfect, thus developing a bad self image. Let alone it doesn’t do anything for my self image.

I love this picture. It makes me feel better about myself and she is still beautiful. Good for you Kim
That’s a pretty good Photoshop ™ job. But my favorite was a shot of Kate Winslett for the British edition of GQ. Go to http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_dCdszhCtvTk/RbPncHUYvgI/AAAAAAAAACQ/oR6GqfHc9rM/s400/winslet_photoshop.bmp and you’ll find the picture where they elongated her to make her thinner, but didn’t thin the picture in the mirror.

Also, don’t forget the Dove ™ Campaign for Real Beauty and the great video at http://www.dove.us/#/features/videos/default.aspxcp-documentid=7049579/. It’s on YouTube, too of course.
