TLC is presenting the four-part reality series “Countdown to the Crown” at 10pm ET/PT and airs on Friday nights leading up to the Miss America Pageant.  “Countdown to the Crown” features all 52 Miss America contestants living together in the infamous Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA, as they prepare for the pageant by meeting with experts in the field of fashion and beauty. The 2009 Miss America Pageant will take place in Las Vegas and air LIVE on TLC on January 24 at 8:00 pm ET, to be hosted by Mario Lopez.  24-year-old Rebecca Robinson of Buffalo will represent Texas on “Countdown to the Crown” and as she prepares for the Miss America competition.  Rebecca attended Buffalo High School and later went on to Texas A&M University.   For more information on Miss Texas, visit misstexas.org.
