Days Of Our Thighs! Calorie Deficits

Tip one-

It takes 3500 calories to burn a pound of fat. Use this website to calculate your BMR.

If you workout regularly,  multiply that number by 1.4 for the days you workout, and 1.2 for the days you don’t.

This is the number of calories you need to consume to MAINTAIN weight.

If you want to lose weight, you need to (through a few days) eliminate 3500 calories from your diet. So for example: If you should be eating 1800 calories a day, you can choose to eat 1200 per day instead giving you a deficit of 600. In about 5 or 6 days, you would have a deficit of 3500 meaning you’ve lost 1lbs of fat!!!! Even if the scale goes up or stays the same…as long as you have a deficit of 3500 you’ve done it! You just might be retaining water or gained some muscle.

Stay with us on this. Each day just write down your calories. Some days you might be set back a little. That’s ok. Just keep working toward 3500 and you’re on your way!!!

  1. Is there’s supposed to be a hyperlink to a website with a BMR calculator? If so, it’s not there.
