the soccer player I once was?! The baby that is, he is just doing the baby can-can in there. Everytime I pass by the mirror I am like “who is that girl?!” it’s surreal. As I know I am not the first person on earth to have a baby it is MY first time seeing myself with a baby bump. (Except for when I would put balloons or beach balls in my shirt as a kid)
Weight gain, that is something they tell you not to worry about, but dammit how can you NOT?! Ok I am not going there. sorry.
Sooooo glad that this weekend is long (three days!) Brandon and I are going to enjoy every drop! I love my job emmensly but getting up at 4:15 a.m. is a drag! can I get a “what what”?! So hows this for funny pregnancy craving. I am watering my vegtables last night and the smell of the wet soil smelled SOOO GOOD! I wanted to reach down and take a bite of it! So I called my mom (mother of 4) and told her. She laughed and said when she was pregnant she wanted to eat dirt and drink gasoline! LMAO! Luckily for my brothers and sisters, she never drank gasoline or ate the dirt but I looked it up online and the desire to eat dirt comes from not eating enough IRON. So I made myself a BIIIG leafy salad and grilled up some steak. Hope that helps. I will find out when I go out to water the veggies!

I hear ya on the “who is that girl?”. I catch my reflection or silhouette in the window and think holy cow I’m pregnant! This is our first too . . and a boy! . . and at 7 months now our favorite thing to do at night is lay there watching my stomach bounce around.

I had the same thing but with rubbing alcohol, hmm. Very weird, I literally avoided it because of the way it made me feel — I felt it was soooo wrong! I have a little boy, he is 7 now… OK not so little anymore. You’ll love being a mom Kelly.
