Okay…

So what is the big deal with asking people what they want for Christmas…It seems like I have been bombarded by that very question for the last week. Has the true meaning behind the holiday been commercialized in such a way that we have truly forgotten what it means?

As of now I will not commit to “what” I would like this year for Christmas. It is driving some of my closest family and friends insane…I say “I don’t need anything” or “get me what ever you would like”. See for me Christmas is not about what I get, but rather the thought behind it.

Sounds weird I guess, but I really do have everything I could ever want.

Happy Holidays!!

I share Keith’s thought. Christmas is about love, family, peace, kindness and thoughtfulness towards our fellow earth dwellers (yes, that includes the animals). The question should be “what can I do to make this a better place to live, what do I have to offer?” Giving of oneself is the greatest gift one can give themselves and others. Enjoy this and every holiday that you can. Life is short, make the most of it.

I would love a trip to Hawaii, an all inclusive Cabo trip, a weekend stay in Monterey, passes to Six Flags and a weekend full spa treatment. I have a huge imagination, but very realistic. That isn’t ever going to happen! Coming from a poor childhood, the gifts I remember the most, liked the best, was the new box of 64 Crayola Crayons, a Christmas Coloring Book new pajamas and slippers, and the Lifesaver Book with 8 rolls of fruit flavored lifesavers inside. I wish kids, in this high-tech, high-paced life, knew the simplicity and spirit of such times. Now is when we should take a step back, be thankful for what we have, and help those who have less. Happy Holidays to all.

Hi Nikki,

I wish that this Country heals from everything we are going through and we start the new year off fresh. This was one of the most difficult and amazing years of my life. I started off the year recording my solo CD, battled Cancer, released my CD and am back singing in both my bands. I have lots to be thankfull for this year and I want to thank Nikki and The Wolf for everything that have brought to the Bay Area.

Have a Great Holliday
Kurtis

1. A great bottle of wine (to add to the one I received on my birthday.)

2. A Nikki autograph in my autograph book.

3. Any free WOLF paraphernalia.

4. World peace (specially in Oakland, Richmond, and Palo Alto.)

5. To be able to win a WOLF contest.

6. World peace (specially in the Middle East.)

7. Good cheer for all.

Man, do I ask too much? I’d better stop there, except a wish for a Happy Holiday season for all Wolf listeners! (I know! I’m a cheese biscuit!)

Sincerely,
Jerry

A “What not to wear” makeover. A trip to Hawaii. A weekend spa treatment. A maid service for two weeks.
Things like that just don’t happen. Honestly though, I would like to bring back the days of when PJ’s, slippers, coloring book, crayons, and books that when you opened them had 8 rolls of lifesaver in them were the gifts that made you the happiest, and meant the most. Gone is the simple life. Happy Holidays to You!

Well first I’d like to say “Happy Holidays” to everyone at The Wolf and to all the listeners of the Wolf!!
Secondly, for me this Christmas, I only have one request and I know it might be hard for those on a fixed income like myself but here it goes:
Since Christmas is more a childrens holiday and many families are struggling my wish for Christmas is to encourage those that can to support the local agencies that offer Chrtistmas presents to children such as “Toys for Tots” and The Salvation Army. In my past there was a point in my life where we received Christmas help through these organizations and believe me they did a wonderful job at making our holiday at that time much more meaningful!! Also, please encourage others to support them too!!
That way all children will have a blessed holiday and my prayers will be answered!!

I read it once…and it has stuck with me.
I’ll wish for world peace and thin thighs
