Raiders Cable Won’t Be Punished

There just wasn’t enough evidence to bring down Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable, for allegedly beating his assistant coach senseless, according to reports.
Not only did it sound like Randy Hanson made up the story, which didn’t match any of the others in the room, but it sounded as if he had an axe to grind towards the Raiders organization.
“It should be further noted that within the past week and a half, Mr. Hanson showed up unannounced at the police department and made a statement to the effect that since the Raiders had not given him what he asked for, he would now fully cooperate with the prosecution,” said one of the investigators.

This Stephen Jackson Thing Is Ridiculous

Stephen Jackson
Stephen Jackson of the Warriors…what’s up now? Has anything changed since he made that outlandish statement in New York about wanting a trade? Sure did…to the tune of a $25,000 fine. He makes a good point. How come Kobe didn’t get fined a few years ago? Hey, cause he’s better than you. How does that make you feel? Well Jackson hasn’t changed his stance, and he’s right when he says the Warriors have steadily nosedived since that round with Dallas. Davis, Harrington, ex-King Matt Barnes, the Michael Jordyn of France, Michael Pietrus-all gone. But the irony here is that Jackson did it to himself. If he knew or suspected the Warriors were falling apart, why did he sign a three year contract extension, which by the way he did without an agent. He worked with Warriors’ president Robert Rowell personally on the deal, which now handcuffs the Warriors on trading his $9-10 million a year salary. Nice work. Funny thing is, now that it doesn’t matter, Jackson has an agent. Stephen Jackson…a completely backwards dope who’s blown it on himself as much as the Warriors organization has blown it period. It’s a match made in heaven…they deserve each other.
