The goal was to drive awareness and showcase local dairy farm families in Colorado as well as highlight the “mooooving billboards throughout Denver” through out the month of June on Alice 105.9 through online and on air assets.
We reached out to moms as our main demographic. The majority of weekly grocery shopping is done my moms. I was important to spread the local dairy farmer message to these moms and bring a name and a face to the fantastic families providing them with quality Dairy products in Colorado.
KALC created “feel-good” campaign centered around bringing a name and a face to the local Dairy producers in Colorado who bring Colorado families their quality dairy products. Western Dairy Association was ALL over ALICE during June Dairy Month and showcase d and personalized local Dairy Farm families in Colorado.
We also created specialty pages highlighting these Farmers, and where moms can get the latest Healthy meal recipes (Always including dairy), tips for keeping kids active and a lot more. Alice 105.9 also posted the Dairy recipes on the ALICE Facebook page twice a week in the Morning for dinner that night.
To tie in the new Mooooving Billboards out on the road, Slacker from Alice 105.9’s afternoon show and Howie from Alice 105.9’s morning show interviewed selected families that are on the billboards, and asked what they are about, dairy history, etc. We also promoted listeners to go to Facebook to write in where they saw a moooving billboard, where then were automatically registered to win Milk for a year, and tickets to see a large concert this summer. The winner is Maureen Nierman.
