On the Road with The Children’s Hospital

Alice 105.9 and The Children’s Hospital teamed up to put the The Children’s Hospital satellite locations “on the map” with parents living in suburban Denver communities.
This August and September, Alice 105.9 engaged parents with kids to go “on the road” with Alice and The Children’s Hospital , putting the satellite locations on the map . That happened one of 3 ways:
1) Though an on-line contest parents registered to win a Family Road Trip to “cool off” in
the Mountains. Part of the entry process was to enter the nearest TCH satellite location to
their home in the required entry fields. The contest page included a link to the TCH website
so listeners can search and “map out” the location nearest to them.
2) Listeners also went “on the road” and visited Alice 105.9 at the satellite locations in
Broomfield, Wheatridge and Parker. Each Saturday event was a destination for listeners with
a contest registration for a Family Road Trip and an in-car entertainment system, food and
drinks, and for the chance to win kid friendly DVDs, Webkins, Wii games and tickets to
family friendly venues (i.e., The Denver Zoo, The Butterfly Pavillions, Elitch Gardens, etc.)
and ultimately a new Bike! Local Police and the Fire Department officials were on-site to
meet and greet the families, and can even teach them about summer bike safety!
3) Alice 105.9 helped to Support the urban, St. Joseph’s location with a campaign encouraging
parents to stop in to pick up a free night light.
