Educate parent living in suburban Denver communities about the Children’s Hospital satellite locations through fun summer events.
This July and August, Alice 105.9 engaged parents with kids to attend the “Summer of Fun Fairs” with Alice 105.9 and The Children’s Hospital, showing parents exactly where to show up if they have a Children’s Hospital need. This happened in two ways:
1. Through an on-line contest where parents were able to win a Summer of Fun Road Trip to the Mountains. Part of the entry process will be to enter the nearest TCH satellite location to their home in the required entry fields. The contest page will include a link to the TCH website so listeners can search and “map out” the location nearest to them.
2. Listeners could also attend the “Summer of Fun Fairs” with Alice 105.9 at the satellite locations in Broomfield, Wheatridge and Parker. Each Saturday the event was a destination for listeners with a contest registration for a Summer of Fun Road Trip to the Mountains and a Summer of Fun prize pack (including Elitch Gardens tickets, Movie Passes, Colorado Rapids Tickets Color Me Mine, etc for the family that wins). Alice provided food and drinks and had games for the kids for the chance to win friendly prizes like DVDs, Webkins, Wii Games, gift cards, etc. The “Summer of Fun Fairs” will had carnival appeal with actual carnival games, a face painter, bean bag toss, hula hoops, spin art and even a Cotton Candy machine! Local police and Fire Department officials was also be on-site to meet and greet the families!
Additionally, Alice 105.9 ran a one week campaign (the week of 7/12) educating the consumers about The Children’s Hospital location at St. Joseph’s. There was not an event on-site, but it was still an opportunity to educate listeners about the great option for Children’s Hospital care in the city of Denver!
