The 107.9 softball team finished off our regular season last night by beating Comcast Cable 13-5!  We finished with a record of 7-3-1, and are ready for the playoffs starting next week.  Way to go 107.9, good luck in the playoffs!  That’s me, the second guy from the left

It was 40 years ago today that the spaceship Apollo 11 took off for the moon!  There’s a website that is recreating the historical mission as if it were currently happening.  If you are interested in reliving the history, visit wechoosethemoon.org and follow the action exactly as it happened back in 1969!  You can listen to a live stream of the conversations between the ship and ground control, plus follow Apollo’s progress on the way to the moon.  Pretty cool!
