So Kelis (she’d had the hits Milkshake and Bossy), recently divorced from rapper Nas, took to the web today to blast married men who cheat!  Perhaps some insight into why they broke up?  Anyway, check out this blast:

This lovely day I would like to touch on cheaters. Super brief! Why be cowardly, why not go after what you really want? Do people know what they want? Probably not which goes into know and respecting ones self. Also we can discuss w****s, I mean the nasty sub par tricks that participate in cheating. Well let me say this, both parties that are gross. And reality they deserve each other. All the scum bag coward husbands and less than impressive sluts unite! You can all go down in flames together! Hooray! No seriously, I have no patience for any of it but the problem is women usually blame the women. I am here to say that the husband is way more at fault, now of course the woman/women who partake are stupid and pitiful. An honestly I will say its expected from younger girls 23 and under. But after that I do think we as women need to take more responsibility. Men are driven by something differently then we are and that is generally stupidity, don’t worry we still love you guys. We just have to be smarter

Haha!! So evidently Kelis thinks that if you’re 18-22 you can mess around all you want??  Huh?  But we agree with Kelis, cheaters suck!

If you loved Boys Like Girls at Jingle Ball last year, get ready to hear some new stuff from them.  Today I heard their brand new song called “Love Drunk,” and I really liked it!  It’s very reminiscient of the All-American Rejects recent #1 hit “Gives You Hell,” complete with background chanting and all.  No release date for their CD yet, but you should be hearing the song on The End within a few weeks.

3OH!3’s new song ”Starstrukk” has already hit our Text 10 @ 10 countdown, and I’m now hearing that they are working on a new radio version of the track which will include vocals by the one and only Katy Perry!  Can’t wait to hear that!

Couple good all-ages shows coming to town the next couple of weekends out at The Boardwalk in Orangevale.  This Saturday night, June 6th, it’s Kate Voegele (you might remember her from One Tree Hill last season) with Angel Taylor opening up for her.  Angel’s got a great new song called “Make Me Believe” that I think will be a big hit later in the year.  Then next Saturday (the 13th) it’s Hey Monday, who were here in April opening up for Fall Out Boy.  They’re back around now, and headlining this time!  Their CD is pretty good, it reminds me quite a bit of Paramore.  Tickets are always affordable at The Boardwalk, so go enjoy some good live music!

Please don’t hate me! If you’re my friend on facebook, you got a very peculiar message from me today with a link to some sort of video. DO NOT OPEN THAT LINK!! It’s loaded with viruses, and it may cause your facebook to do the same thing that happened to me, spam all of your friends! This is so annoying! I warned everyone on the air this afternoon not to open anything from me, but I know not everyone heard that, so I apologize if you did open it. You should definitely run a virus scan on your computer. I hope we can still be friends!

Laura Ling, who is a native Sacramentan and sister of Lisa Ling (from the TV show Scratch back in the day, and on The View more recently), is being held prisoner in North Korea along with another journalist, and will stand trial this Thursday for entering the communist country illegally.  Ms. Ling and her co-worker were doing a story about North Korean refugees in China at the time.  The North Korean government is claiming they were conducting “hostile activities” while in the country illegally, and it is speculated that they could be sentenced to 5-10 years in a brutal labor camp.  If you don’t know, North Korea is run by an evil dictator very unfriendly to the USA, not to mention to his own people.  This is a very unfortunate situation, but since Laura is one of our own, I wanted to spread the word.  I’m not exactly sure what we can do against an evil foreign dictator, but if nothing else please sign this petition letting the North Korean government know that we are appalled at their treatment of these American journalists, and calling for their immediate release.
